Description
DESIGN DESCRIPTION
The KMF axial ball bearing - AXIAL-SLIM-SPLIT-BEARING is a bearing with raceways in four-point geometry. Due to the 4 contact points (contact angle 90°), this axial ball bearing has a very high axial load carrying capacity in relation to the small bearing cross-section.
Axial ball bearings are mostly so-called vertical bearings (axis of rotation vertical) and cannot transmit radial loads.
The bearings are not self-retaining. The installation of the bearing parts (bearing rings, balls and cage) can therefore be carried out separately and is also relatively simple for the large diameter ranges.

MATERIAL
The axial ball bearings of the series PBAU, PBAA, PBAC and PBAD are corrosion-resistant. Axial bearing rings and balls are made of corrosion and acid resistant steel X46Cr13 (material no. 1.4034). The cage is made of plastic.

Range of application
The limiting temperatures of the bearings in standard design are -40°C and +100°C in continuous operation and +120°C in short-time operation.
